Sewing Parties!

This past weekend we invited the youth from Mbonisweni to our base for a "Sewing Party." Since they are on school holiday, they were happy to come and help stitch squares together. There was of course lots of laughing and dancing being done while working! Here are a few photos and a video brought to you by Kacy.

Hard at work! Nhlanhla, Mzwandile, and myself

More dancing....worth watching

After completing six blankets, the youth decided they want to give them to the family we are building a home for in the community Dwaleni. The oldest member of this family is 18 years. I'm very excited about seeing the youth bless, pray with, & encourage this family in their own language next week! Stay tuned for more pictures and stories!

A few months ago our friend Marisa Groff also put this video together. It shows our previous sewing party and trip to see the Kunene family in Swaziland.

  4. Great to see hope and love being assembled and given. A family of 6 with the oldest being 18, that tells a story right there. So glad they're getting a house, that's awesome!
